New Format Lightning Talks!
Lightning Talks will work differently this year - we're on the main stage in the morning in Berlin, so people will expect a more polished presentation than past years. We'll also be limiting speakers to 4 minutes maximum to fit the time allowed. Slides *are* allowed (please use PDF in 16:10 ratio to send to us to run from a Windows laptop)
We're looking for talks about One Great Idea that you can explain in 3-4 minutes - something to excite or inform people, and get them interested to find out more later on - much like Ignite! talks.
The best talks are inspiring or humorous, and include elements about your personal experience, project communities, or ways to help all contributors in projects around the ASF. Project intros must include a key case study or real world use, not API overviews or technical details.
CFP Selection will selective; we won't have time for all submissions, sorry!
